The quality of life for each of us is affected to a greater lesser degree by the environment we live in. We have no control of much of this environment- it is created by nature and the actions of others, but there is a lot we can do ourselves to maintain and even improve it.

Within the Waste Forum we aim to assist our local council in maintaining an environmentally friendly, clean and safe Medway.

We do this by observing and reporting to the Council the following:

a) Litter blackspots
b) Fly Tipping
c) Dog mess blackspots
d) Blocked road drains
e) Overflowing litter bins
f) Street lights not working
g) Unsafe footpaths
h) Abandoned cars
i) Graffiti
j) Cars parked on grass verges
k) Overgrown hedges part blocking pavements
l) Cars blocking pavements

All of the above can be reported by phone-dial Medway (01634) 333333, or by filling in a prepared council “comment card” (obtainable from libraries or any council office) or by email.
